Installing the Chrome extension

Step 1.

Download the .zip file from the button at the top of this page.

Step 2.

Right click the .zip file and select “Extract all.” It should extract to the directory you downloaded it to by default.

On a Mac, simply double click the .zip file to extract it.

Step 3.

In Chrome, open the menu. Hover over “More tools”, then click “Extensions”.

Step 4.

In the Extensions page, switch on “Developer mode”.

Step 5.

Click “Load unpacked”.

Step 6.

Open the folder that you just unzipped, and select the subfolder. Then, click “Select folder”.

Step 7.

The extension has been loaded. If you click the puzzle icon on the top right, you can see a list of your extensions. By clicking the pin icon next to the eCare Solutions extension, you can pin the extension to your toolbar for quick and easy access.

Step 8.

Log in with your eCare Solutions account.

You will receive a notification to say that this extension will only work with a Cliniko invoice page.

Using the Invoice Processor with Cliniko

Step 1.

Create an account with eCare Solutions.

Step 2.

In your settings, link your eCare Solutions account with Cliniko, Stripe, and Xero. Go to the patients list and hit sync to make sure your accounts have been successfully linked.

Step 3.

Set your email template. This is what the client will receive when prompted to make a payment.

Step 4.

Log into Cliniko as usual.

Step 5.

Select a patient and create an invoice.

Once an invoice has been created, and you are on the invoice page, open the eCare Chrome extension.

Step 6.

The invoice details and patient contact details will be displayed. Clicking the button will send the invoice link to the selected email.

 
 

On the customer’s end, they will receive the email with the link to make the payment. The customer can easily submit the payment from there.

Once the customer makes a payment, you will see this reflected in your Stripe and Xero accounts.
